A STUDY OF DISTRIBUTION OF HOUSING LOAN BY BANK UNDER CHIEF MINISTER RURAL HOUSING MISSION FROM 2011 TO 2016 (WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO INDORE DISTRICT)

Abstract


India is a well developing nation yet on the opposite side suffered a various issues. Housing is one of the significant issue in India. Housing is all around perceived as one of the essential human rights. The India is as yet battling with housing issue particularly in rural area. Madhya Pradesh has about 37 lac rural poor who are either houseless or live in semi-pucca houses. Hence, there it was felt that there is a requirement of a scheme which helps poor people of rural areas to build their own house. Keeping this in mind, Chief Minister Rural Housing Mission was launched. This scheme was based on “On-Request-On-Demand” loan. With the help from different departments, the beneficiary can built their own house. Based on the land location, beneficiary eligibility criteria, the bank agrees to give loan for the construction of the house.
